1. Plan early
At least six months before a trade show, begin planning goals and objectives. During this time determine your products being presented, exhibit design objectives, display guidelines, appearance, and operation goals. Partner with Exhibitors Service Network for all facets of your booth and graphic design, labor, furniture and audiovisual rentals, show services and logistics.
2. Get your booth space
When booking your booth, find out everything you can about your space. You will need to consider the location on the trade show floor, other exhibits nearby who may help bring in visitors, whether it is a high or low traffic area and how the architecture of the convention space may affect your booth design. There could be columns next to your booth space or low ceiling heights among other things.
3. Promote on social media
Get the word out with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. This promotion should be done pre-event, at event and post-event. Include photos of your display with your booth staff. Acknowledge comments on the social media sites by tweeting or liking back. Find out the show hashtag and post accordingly.
